Cardinal Principles Prarthana Samaj

<1>  God is the Creator of this Universe. He is the only true God. There is no other God besides Him. He is eternal, spiritual, infinite, the store of all good, all joy, without parts, without form, one without a second, the ruler of all, all pervading, omniscient, almighty, merciful, all holy, infinite in love and the saviour of sinners.

१. परमेश्वराने हे जग उत्पन्न केले. तोच एक खरा देव, त्या शिवाय दुसरा देव नाही. तो नित्य, ज्ञानस्वरूप, अनंत, कल्याणनिधान, आनंदमय, निरवयव, निराकार, एकच, अद्वितीय, सर्वांचा नियंता,सर्वव्यापी, सर्वज्ञ, सर्वशक्ती, कृपानिधी, प्रेमस्वरूप, परमपवित्र, पतितपावन असा आहे.

<2>  His worship leads to happiness in this world and the next.

२. केवळ त्याच्याच उपासनेच्या योगे येथे व परलोकी शुभ प्राप्त होते.

<3>  Love and reverence for Him, an exclusive faith in Him, praying and singing to him spiritually ith these feelings and doing the things pleasing to Him constitute His true worship.

३. त्याच्यावर प्रीती, पूज्यत्वबुद्धी व अनन्यभाव ठेवून त्याप्रमाणे त्याचे मनाने भजन पूजन करणे व त्यास प्रिय अशी कृत्ये करणे हीच त्याची उपासना होय.

<4>  To worship and to pray to images and other created objects is not a true mode of divine adoration.

४. मूर्ती व इतर जड पदार्थ यांची पूजा किंवा प्रार्थना करणे हा ईश्वरोपासनेचा खरा प्रकार नव्हे.

<5>  God does not incarnate Himself and there is no book which has been directly revealed by God or is wholly infallible.

५. परमेश्वर सावयव रूपाने अवतार घेत नाही व कोणताही एक ग्रंथ साक्षात् किंवा सर्वांशीं प्रमाण नाही.

<6>  All men are His children, therefore, they should behave towards each other as brethren without distinction. This is pleasing to God and constitutes man’s duty.

६. सर्व मनुष्ये एका परमेश्वराची लेकरे आहेत, म्हणून भेद न राखिता परस्परांशी बंधुभावाने वागावे हे ईश्वरास प्रिय आहे, आणि हे मनुष्याचे कर्तव्य आहे.
